Rail Crossing Timbers Customized to Your Specifications
We manufacture Rail Crossing Timbers, essential for creating safe and reliable rail crossings. Our crossing timbers are available in various thicknesses—6″, 7″, or 8″—to match the rail height from tie top, ensuring a perfect fit for your needs.
We provide additional customization, including:
- Undercutting for Rail Plates: We can undercut the bottom of two timbers (on the gauge side in the middle) to accommodate rail plates, providing a seamless and stable crossing.
- Shaped Ends for Utility Contractors: Our timbers can be shaped to allow utility contractors to easily access and navigate the crossings with their vehicles (when transferring on to the rail).
- Outside Timbers: We offer outside timbers (the field side) that rest on tie ends, which can be backfilled with gravel or asphalt for enhanced stability and durability.
