Rail Track Shims
These Rail Track Shims are made from exterior grade Douglas Fir plywood, and are various thicknesses from 1/4″ up to 1-1/4″ x 7-1/2″ x 18″ and have 6 holes bored for clearance for Pandrol Clips. When the ties sink in the ballast, this is a quick way to fill in the gaps temporarily. The shims are plastic wrapped in bundles that can be carried on a MOW truck.
