This is a 14′ wide x 16′ long Timber Bridge, suitable for all highway loads. It is supplied in 2 pieces 7′ wide x 16′ long, complete with curbs all fully attached. It comes with internal lifting hooks for easy rigging. Once placed the 14′ through rods are slid in to hold the bridge together. Customer builds their own abutments using a local contractor. Generally speaking abutments are concrete lock blocks or treated sill timbers on tamped road mulch.  This bridge needs 12″ of bearing on each end on the abutment. So effectively the 16′ bridge has an actual air span of 14′ .
