These Crane Mats are specially made for a customer who does reclamation work on tidal areas. Sometimes the machinery is working right in the water. The cables are designed to always “stick up” so that the machine operator can “find” the mats in deeper water. The cables are oversize to keep them stiff. They are built only 24″ or 36″ wide, this means they are very maneuverable and can easily be positioned in front and behind the machine. This work is all about protecting the landscape and rebuilding natural habitat.
