Check out this giant timber wedge. We manufactured 4 of these wedges, they are 30″ high at the heel x 84″ wide x 39′ long. They have 10 horizontal rods 1-1/4″ diameter, 28 vertical rods, a steel shoe-toe on the tip, lifting plates inside for rigging and Crosby lifting clevis’s. A large crawler crane will operate on these wedges on a slope at 6%, keeping the crane level for the lifts.
