Mud Boards are “benches” for pipe-line welders…..imagine lying down in “loon sh*t” and having to position your body to complete the weld on large diameter pipe. Mud Boards are simply benches with removable legs, so that you can set up in a somewhat comfortable position to weld over your head.  When on a slope you can leave 1 leg off. The Mud Board keeps your head, neck and torso out of the mud!
