These Digger Mats are heading up north to the Houston BC area being deployed on a Natural Gas line infrastructure job. They will be operating in sensitive ground terrain where heavy machinery needs to access a site. The “drag cables” on top of each end of the mat are used to quickly drag the digger mat into position so the excavator can “hop-scotch” across the difficult terrain. They put 1 digger mat in front and then “sit” on 3 mats, then they can swing one around in a circle and “waddle” across a swamp.
